Before Reading
This is not a work of pride or persuasion. What follows was not invented, but uncovered—one verse guiding the next, like light tracing its way through darkness.
No claim is made here except what is seen: that the Word still speaks, and still reveals. If these things are true, then they belong to no one but the God who allows the hidden to be known.

If this testimony is not true, then let it serve as a witness that doctrine itself can be shaped into anything believable. If this study could forge a false pattern out of these verses, then so can any creed or tradition. In that case, no teaching stands above suspicion — not even the ones long accepted. But if what is written here is confirmed by the Word itself, then the matter is not mine, but the God’s, and the truth has spoken for itself.
Let the focus remain not on the researcher who searched,
but on the One who gives sight to those willing to see.
To Those Who See the Light
A Testimony through Scripture
SECTION ONE – The Testimony of the New Testament
Definitions:
-
Son of God = Angel
-
Son of Man = Human
-
A Prophet = Representative of a God
The following 92 New Testament passages are used to reveal how they correspond to the ancient declarations found in Isaiah 14:12–21—a passage often interpreted as describing the fall of Satan. However, as will be demonstrated, it aligns far more clearly with the path of Jesus, the one that is called the “Light of the world.”
These Scriptures are grouped thematically to show the fulfillment of Isaiah’s vision—not as a descent into rebellion, but as a divine mission from God.

Another Man’s Tomb
Matthew 27:57 Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. 58 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him. 59 When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed.

Where is the body ???
Matthew 27:62-66 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, he is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. 65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. 66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
Matthew 28:11-13 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13 Saying, Say ye, his disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14 And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jewish until this day.

John 20:1-2 – The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
Clothed In The Slain

Falling to the Slain : a physical response, often falling to the ground, believed to be caused by an overwhelming experience of the Holy Spirit’s presence.
Gashed in the side
John 19:33-34 but coming to Jesus, when they saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you also may believe.
John 20:20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side.
John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
20 You shall not have a burial like them;

Murdered your people.

Nevermore be named!

The Divided Fail, or Destroyed
Luke 12:49 – I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:34 – Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
iii. Mark 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

Adam the father of Mankind
Romans 5:12-21 – Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of him who was to come.

2 Timothy 3:12 – Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Corinthians 4:9-13 – For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor. 11 To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless; 12 and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure; 13 when we are slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.
1 Thessalonians 2:15 – Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
Conclusion
Conclusion: The Word Reveals Itself
This testimony is not my invention, but a reflection drawn from the very pages of Scripture. The New Testament, revered by many, speaks in agreement with the vision Isaiah declared. The one thought to be fallen in rebellion is, in truth, the obedient messenger—sent, not self-willed.
Let it be known: the God has not failed, nor been deceived. What was hidden in plain sight is now brought to light. The fall was not a fall of evil, but the descent of a servant fulfilling the divine will.
Let those with eyes see, and those with ears hear:
The Word stands. The Light was never lost.
Only misunderstood.
And now the truth returns, not with spectacle, but with Scripture.
Not with violence, but with understanding.
Not to condemn, but to restore.
This is not the end of the message, but the beginning of remembrance.
To the One True God—may all things return.

This study is part of a broader scroll of understanding—a restoration of what was always written but never rightly taught.
To fully understand:
-
Why the fall of Satan is a myth,
-
Why Jesus is the Shining One who descended by divine command,
-
Why the idea of a whispering devil is unscriptural,
-
Why the Book of Enoch contradicts the scrolls,
-
And why the New Testament is the Testament of the Test, not of the Redeemer…

The King of Babylon
Isaiah 14:12–21 Matched with the King of Babylon
Isaiah 14:12
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Shining One, son of the dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!”
➡️ Babylon’s king is mocked as a “fallen star.” He once shone brightly in glory and power, but is now cast down. His empire had “laid nations low” through conquest.
Isaiah 14:13–14
“You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne… I will make myself like the Most High.’”
➡️ Babylon’s royal arrogance: kings claimed semi-divine status, boasting that their throne was higher than all others, rivaling the gods themselves.
Isaiah 14:15
“But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.”
➡️ Despite his boasting, the king meets a humiliating end — cast into death like any other man, not exalted.
Isaiah 14:16–17
“Those who see you will stare at you… ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?’”
➡️ Nations marvel that the once-feared king is now powerless. Babylon devastated lands, destroyed cities, and enslaved peoples — refusing to release captives (cf. Israel’s exile). Now the king lies low.
Isaiah 14:18–19
“All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch, clothed with the slain… trampled underfoot.”
➡️ Unlike other rulers given honorable burials, Babylon’s king is denied royal dignity. He’s thrown aside like a discarded corpse, disgraced before all.
Isaiah 14:20
“You will not be joined with them in burial, because you destroyed your land, you have slain your people.”
➡️ His brutal reign consumed even his own land and people. He is remembered not with honor, but with shame.
Isaiah 14:21
“Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the earth and fill the face of the world with cities.”
➡️ Babylon’s dynasty is cut off. His children will not continue his throne. His line is slaughtered so his empire cannot rise again.
📖 Summary
In its historical context, Isaiah 14:12–21 is a satirical taunt against the king of Babylon:
-
Once brilliant, now fallen.
-
Arrogant like a god, yet brought to Sheol.
-
Feared by nations, now mocked by them.
-
Denied burial, his dynasty wiped out.
This reading is solid within Isaiah’s time and audience.
Side by Side Comparison Chart
Isaiah 14:12–21 Comparison Chart
| Isaiah Verse | Babylon (Historical) | Satan (Traditional) | Jesus (Revelatory) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 14:12 – “How you are fallen from heaven, O Shining One, son of the dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!” | Mocking Babylon’s downfall from power — a “fallen star” in poetic language. | Seen as Satan’s prideful fall from heaven. | Jesus “came down from heaven” (Jn 6:38), the true Light of the world (Jn 8:12). Felled on earth through crucifixion (Lk 23:33). |
| 14:13–14 – “You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne… I will make myself like the Most High.” | Babylonian kings boasted of being divine, exalting their throne. | Satan’s arrogant desire to usurp God’s throne. | Jesus ascends into heaven (Lk 24:51), sits at God’s right hand (Eph 1:20–21). He is given all authority (Mt 28:18), equality with God acknowledged (Phil 2:6). |
| 14:15 – “But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.” | Babylon’s king descends into death and humiliation. | Satan cast into hell. | Jesus descends to Sheol (Mt 12:40; Eph 4:9), three days in the grave, but not abandoned (Acts 2:31). |
| 14:16–17 – “Those who see you will stare… Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms… who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let prisoners go home?” | Once-mighty Babylon now mocked as powerless. | Satan once feared as destroyer of nations. | At the cross, the earth quakes (Mt 27:51–54). Nations tremble before Jesus. His followers, called “prisoners of Christ” (Eph 3:1), are sent into the world (Jn 17:18). |
| 14:18–19 – “All the kings lie in glory, each in his own tomb; but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch… like a corpse trampled underfoot.” | Babylon’s king denied an honorable burial. | Satan disgraced, denied rest. | Jesus buried in a rich man’s tomb (Mt 27:57–60) yet the tomb found empty (Mt 28:6). His body pierced (Jn 19:34), mocked, trampled under men’s hatred. |
| 14:20 – “You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people.” | Babylon destroyed its own land by tyranny. | Satan accused of bringing death into the world. | Jesus’ burial is unlike others — the tomb could not hold him (Lk 24:3, Jn 20:2). His coming brought division (Mt 10:34–36). In him, believers die and rise (Rom 6:4–5). |
| 14:21 – “Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the earth and fill the face of the world with cities.” | Babylon’s descendants also judged, ending its dynasty. | Satan’s followers doomed to judgment. | Jesus, the Lamb led to slaughter (Acts 8:32). His “sons” (followers) are persecuted (2 Tim 3:12), slain as sheep for God’s sake (Rom 8:36). |

The Heart of the Project
At its core, this study is the living embodiment of Isaiah 5:20:
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness.”
For centuries, Isaiah 14 has been taught as a story of Satan’s fall — a “bad thing.” But by pairing its verses directly with the words of the New Testament, it reveals that it mirrors the mission of Jesus — the obedient servant, the Light of the world, who descended, suffered, and was exalted.
What tradition condemned as “bad” (the fall of a devil) is in truth the good descent of a messenger. What tradition lifted as “good” (a theology built on deception and misreading) is in fact the inversion.
This is not persuasion. It is unveiling.
📖 The Method and Tone
-
This study defines terms plainly: Son of God = Angel, Son of Man = Human.
-
This study let Scripture speak for itself, stacking Isaiah’s words beside 90+ New Testament passages.
-
The preface makes clear: this is not the researcher’s invention, but God’s revelation to those with eyes to see.
This studies tone is prophetic humility — disowning pride, but standing firm on what the Word reveals.
⚖️ The Theological Disruption
This project strikes at the very core of Christian tradition:
-
Isaiah 14 is not Satan’s story but The Christ’s.
-
The “fall” is not rebellion, but willing descent.
-
The cross is not defeat, but triumph over powers and authorities.
-
The test of Deuteronomy 13 is fulfilled in him, exposing whether people truly love God or only signs.
In this light, the project is not just analysis — it is a prophetic correction.
🌌 Prophetic Consistency
By framing it with Isaiah 5:20, this study stands exactly where the prophets always stood:
-
Declaring that the world has inverted truth.
-
Showing that what men despised was in fact God’s doing.
-
Exposing that the “good” of human doctrine is actually the “bad” of deception.
This is why resistance comes: not because this study is wrong, but because it is holding up a mirror where people would rather see a mask.
✨ The Greater Significance
A Good Thing Said To Be Bad is more than a page. It is a witness:
-
To God’s consistency (He does not contradict Himself).
-
To Scripture’s self-revelation (the Word interprets itself when allowed to speak).
-
To the test of the last days (whether we will cling to tradition or truth).
It is, in its very structure, a fulfillment of Isaiah 5:20. The fact that it feels so “wrong” to many is not evidence against it — it is confirmation that the woe spoken of has arrived.
🌟 Final Reflection
This study is not wrong, it stands exactly where Scripture said someone must stand: in the place where the world has flipped light and darkness. This study restores what was twisted, re-centers the testimony of Jesus in Isaiah’s vision, and calls people back to the God who reveals before He acts.
It is not the end of a message, but the beginning of remembrance.
It is not a new word, but the old Word — uncovered at last.
It is, in every sense: a good thing said to be bad.
